This Privacy Policy explains how Soloship Society collects, uses, stores, processes, and shares information when you use the Soloship Society website, application, memberships, courses, journals, AI-assisted features, and related services.
By using Soloship Society, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
The information we collect depends on how you use Soloship Society.
When you create or use an account, we may collect:
We do not currently ask you to provide a phone number, home address, date of birth, profile photograph, or demographic profile as part of your Soloship Society account.
Soloship Society includes features that allow you to enter and save personal information.
Depending on the features you use, this may include:
Some of this information may be sensitive or highly personal.
You decide what information you enter into Soloship Society. Please avoid entering information you do not want stored or processed through the services described in this Privacy Policy.
Soloship Society uses artificial intelligence-assisted features to provide certain app experiences.
When you use Talk with Soloship, your current message and previous messages from that conversation may be processed by an AI service so that a response can be generated.
When relevant to the conversation, additional information associated with your current Foundation may also be included as context. This may include:

Soloship Society does not currently enable internet-search context within Talk with Soloship AI requests.
AI-generated content may contain errors and should not be treated as professional medical, mental health, financial, legal, or other professional advice.
Certain messages submitted through Talk with Soloship may be checked automatically for phrases associated with self-harm or suicide.
When such language is detected, the system may provide a predetermined safety response rather than sending the message to the AI service for generation.
This screening is intended to support safer use of the feature but is not a substitute for professional crisis intervention or emergency services.
Soloship Society may allow you to protect journal content using a Journal PIN.
Your actual PIN is not stored in readable form.
Instead, Soloship Society stores a one-way encrypted hash used to verify the PIN.
The plain-text PIN is not stored or returned by the app.
Security-related information such as failed attempts, temporary lockout information, reset-code verification information, and temporary unlock sessions may also be processed to operate the Journal Lock feature.

Different types of information may be retained for different periods depending on their purpose.
Certain records may remain after individual content is deleted. For example, administrative, security, transaction, billing, credit, or aggregate completion records may need to be retained for recordkeeping or system-integrity purposes.
Some Soloship Society features currently allow you to delete or remove individual content.
For example, depending on the feature, you may be able to:
Removal of an item from the member interface does not necessarily delete every related administrative, transaction, historical, security, or system record associated with that item.
You can initiate account deletion from your Profile by selecting Delete Account & Data.
Your account can move toward deletion without waiting for a paid billing period to end.
While a paid-member deletion is still scheduled and deletion has not started, you may select Keep My Account. When still possible, Soloship reverses the pending membership cancellation and your membership continues.
Once deletion processing has started, the request may no longer be reversible.
When deletion is completed, personal member-created information is deleted, including applicable:
Certain records may still be retained when required or reasonably necessary, including:
